missingN▯ is a character in Vampire Survivors that starts with the weapon Axe or Decease Spiral (50% chance of either).

Unlocking

To unlock missingN▯, the Yellow Sign must get-go be unlocked. The thespian must enter Green Acres with Hyper Mode and Hurry Mode enabled. After heading south xviii tilesets and west xviii tilesets, the area's advent will change drastically. After this happens, enemies that announced to be behemothic winged eyes will begin to spawn. After killing 128 of them, missingN▯ can be bought from the graphic symbol select menu.

Alternatively, missingN▯ can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane past casting the Spell "rightninetyseven".

  • If Max Wellness is negative, missingN▯ becomes invincible.

  • missingN▯ used to be unlocked by killing Expiry. Since the addition of Mask of the Red Expiry, any previously unlocked missingN▯ characters were converted to Mask of the Crimson Death. Considering of this, missingN▯ could not be unlocked with an unmodified salve until a new unlock method was added in patch 0.11.209.
  • Non only are missingN▯'south stats calculated randomly, but its proper noun and ability description too contain randomly-generated characters in the ASCII range 0x00 - 0xde:
    • Its name is adamant equally missingN▯, where '▯' represents a random character.
    • Its description is determined as 'One thousand(▯▯), where '▯' represents a random grapheme.
  • The name and item on missingN▯'s smaller character tile is the name and item when it was previously selected.
    • After selecting missingN▯, its current name and weapon is displayed on the larger character tile.
    • Upon startup, its proper noun is initially "LATODISOTTO" (Italian for "underside"), and its item is the Duplicator. This is purely aesthetic.
  • Both its proper name and glitched appearance are a reference to the famous glitch of the same name from PokĂ©mon Red and Blueish.
    • missingN▯'s description is an additional reference to a less renowned glitch from PokĂ©mon Red and Blue.
    • The 128 enemy requirement is also a reference to a glitch in PokĂ©mon where using MissingNo. in battle would give you lot 128 of your 6th bag slot item.
  • The optional spell "rightninetyseven" (unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, used as an alternating way to unlock MissingN▯), is likely a reference to "Lost Number" from the original Last Fantasy VII. In which a secret code was needed to unlock a safe, "(Right 36), (Left 10), (Right 59), (Right 97)", upon inputting the terminal missing number into the safe (Correct 97), "Lost Number" would announced.
