Michiel,
When exporting a show to a video I get prompted to make a choice of Codex/Encoders to select. For at present I am simply posting my videos on YouTube. What should I be selecting from the list provided?
Microsoft Video 1
Cinepak Codec by Radius
DV Video Encoder
GoPro CineForm Codec v9.0.5
GoPro-CineForm Encoder (multicore)
INTEL YUV Coder
MJPEG Compressor
MSScreen 9 Encoder DMO
Microsodft RLE
WMVideo 8 Encoder DMO
WMVideo 9 Encoder DMO
Total Frame (Uncompressed)
Is there 1 that is more universally accustomed? I am working on a PC running Windows 8.1 and use SONY Movie Studio Platinum Suite 13 for processing my videos. I detect that I demand to run the BT *.avi files throuhg SMS before I ship them to someone or mail them on YouTube.
You can utilise any y'all want.
Just yous will have to do some experimenting to find out which ones piece of work. This is because this is but a list of the codecs that happen to exist installed on your organization. On my system I see a totally different list. BluffTitler does not know anything about any of them.
I always use Full Frames (Uncompressed), mix my title with other video and audio sources in my NLE (Sony Vegas) and export to MPEG-4 for publishing on YouTube and other social media.
"Universally accepted" does non exist, but nowadays MPEG-iv comes shut.

Oh CRAP! I just created 36 little intro shows for a friend and used the 'Cinepak Codec by Radius' and now I can't open any of them in SONY MOVIE STUDIO. Is there anyhow to go dorsum and correct them without having to completely exercise them over. It's doesn't appear I tin can bring them dorsum into BT.

Did yous saved the shows?
yes: just open them as you ordinarily would and export equally video.
no: then you will have to redo them.
earlier yous redo them: click on file >open up show. this should open to you're terminal directory, if they're not hither click on the directory earlier that and look.
commonly saved show volition exist in C:/Documents\BluffTitler\Shows.
the very best result to save a video for a NLE (sony studio) is uncompressed avi, this will give you lot a big file that would be difficult to play in a video-thespian only works great in a NLE. Now y'all can save it from sony studio in the format you lot like.
If you want to post it on YouTube you best convert the uncompressed AVI into a High compressed format as MP4 (h.264). You can do this with Miro Video Converter, it is free, fast and gives expert results.

Well, equally a matter of fact I somehow amazed myself that I did salve them and I only went back and opened one up and saved it using the MJPEG Compressor and I was able to then bring that one into SMS and so I was in the procedure of going back and doing the aforementioned with all of them until you reply merely popped up. I simply checked and see the setting is for Compressed avi. These are but the BT DEMO shows that I was playing with. Just playing with the unproblematic ones only changing the text and some colors etc is all. Nonetheless not upwards to speed to attempt working with the more dynamic ones yet. Thanks for the reply.
